My name is Brownie, I am 14 years young. My story I different than most since my mom, me, my brother and sister are all survivors of domestic violence. My brother Boxer and sister Peanut both arrived first at The Shade Tree both needing medical care. They were both taken to Noah’s Animal House which is on the property of The Shade Tree. There the staff rushed them to an Animal Hospital for care. Boxer and Peanut are both senior pets and thanks to The Grey Muzzle Grant, they were both treated. My story is different, I arrived several weeks later after being rescued from my mom’s abuser. All four of us are together, safe and happy. We all enjoy napping on our throne at Noah’s, snack time and most of all, being together with our mom.
